On May 28, 2004, FGCE class of 1991 completed a N400,000 (naira) project aimed at giving back to our Alma mater. The project which took four months to complete, was coordinated by Emeka Egbuonye with Ebuka Ofor and Olisa Aghanya as focal points in Nigeria . Contributions came from 47 members of the class based in US, UK and Nigeria.
10 class members traveled back to FGC Enugu (9 from Nigeria and 1 from the UK) for the presentation of materials to the school. Mrs B. Obiwulu and other Faculty members received the donation on behalf of the Principal. The presentation/hand-off took place in front of the administrative building, and there was a small reception held in the Principal’s office.
