FGCE Alumni G.I.V.E.S. – The New SS2 Block! (Global Projects Implementation Committee)

he Global PIC delivered on it’s promise. Renovation of SS2 Block was a consensus project, agreed upon at the Global Reunion 2016 in Houston. Demolition commenced on 11/30/2017 with removal of old structures – plumbing, old roofing sheets, etc.

By 2nd week of December, roof framing, masonry, gutter casting, door and window framing were completed.

The handover ceremony took place on January 9, 2018. Our Board Chairman Arc. Ike Agbim, our AFGCEAA President Nnaemeka Osakwe, our PIC Chair Innocent Ogbue, as well as Barr Ezemonye Amadi (pictured cutting the tape), Pierre Emeka Ene, Chidiogo Akpuokwe, and other esteemed alumni were in attendance. We were well represented!

We would like to thank all our alumni for their continued generosity, as well as commend the hard work of our PIC. None of these projects could be achieved without all hands on deck.
